Our last outing brought us to Dakota Meadows Rv park next to Mystic Lake Casino for our nieces birthday party. First we got there on Friday, only to find out the city shut off their water. The let us fill up our fresh water tank which that wasn't to bad gave us a chance to see how much our family would use in 2 days. We were conservative but I think with the four of us and even 1 shower a day we could make the water last. We had to have the heater on it got a tad cool at night with a wind and being fall. On Saturday our relatives showed up, we had dinner, bacon wrapped chicken and beans. Always a good dinner and then the three of them and Jenn headed to the casino for both of our nieces first casino experience and they had fun. While they were away the kids and I watched a movie and then headed to the park for some kick ball and climbing. Then on Sunday we had egg bake & Monkey Bread to finish the weekend out. My nephew had to make a few runs to the store for supplies cause we just forgot some stuff. Really a fun time.
The Positive concrete semi level sites, water sewer right there. Really cool park set up was on a hill. Pick up to the casino right at your site, just have to make a call.
The negative of course the water being turned off wasn't that bad but we headed to the park store for firewood and Ice, and neither was to be had.
I think if you and some people where going to take in a show or have a casino night this park is for you. You just need a place to shower and sleep so the price isnt bad. They do have a Rv wash and was fuel fill up station which was nice.
